Coach Selection Process
Coaches may submit their interest to the league for consideration along with their reasons why they want to be an All-Star Coach, a list of their strengths and weaknesses and any All-Stars history. Coaches for 8-9-10 and 9-10-11 (if applicable) teams will be selected at the board level and will be based on the individuals position during the regular season, league tenure, and All-Star experience, Each All-Star team will have one Manager and two Assistants.
Major's Vote
During the player selection vote, Majors will also be asked to vote for a Head Coach. All of the Head Coaches for the Spring Season will be listed on the roster, whether they have indicated interest or not. Players vote for the coach they feel has "earned" their spot.
All-Star Selection Meeting
The President, VP of Baseball or Softball and the applicable league coordinator then review the “coach vote,” select scenarios of who will be assigned to what role based upon the votes received and the feedback. Because the coaching staffs are always selected AFTER the players are selected, different scenarios are put in place in case a “voted-in” All-Star coach’s child does not make the team.
