All-Star Team Player Selection Process

The All-Star selection process is a season-long evaluation designed to identify the players who best represent the league’s highest standards of performance and character. Throughout the regular season, coaches closely observe their athletes, looking beyond raw statistical talent to identify key traits such as on-field resilience, consistent skill execution, and a team-first mentality. At the conclusion of the season, each Head Coach compiles a list of 12 players who they feel have earned a spot on this competitive roster. These prospect lists are then submitted to the Board of Directors for a formal review. By comparing the input from all Head Coaches, the board ensures a fair and comprehensive selection process, ultimately forming a powerhouse team based on the collective expertise and observations of the league’s leadership.

All-Star Interest and Availability
All players will be asked to indicate their interest in playing All-Stars. This does not guarantee a spot of the team. The interest form is used in the event of a tie-breaker. Players with more availability may take a spot over someone who isn't able to commit to the All-Star season. 

Majors Team Selection Process
In addition to the Head Coaches prospect lists, all major players receive a roster of every player in the major league. Players are asked to vote for 12 players whom they feel have demonstrated and executed a team-first mentality, have consistent skill execution, and leadership qualities. These votes are collected by a board member and kept confidential to coaches, players, and families. While the vote isn't mandatory, it's helpful to learn the perspective of our players. 

These votes are tallied and compared to the Head Coaches votes. Tie breakers may occur based on direct conversations with the player's Head Coach, player commitment and availability, and skill set. 

The President and Vice Presidents reside over the All-Stars Selection Meeting (as applicable). Should any of the aforementioned board members be a parent to a prospective All-Star or interested in being a manager or coach of a team, he/she would be recused from the process.
